Empowering Ethical Employment, the 2023 New Zealand Ethical Employers Conference

Welcome to the 2024 New Zealand Ethical Employers Conference. As we collectively navigate 2024, some of us are feeling recharged and optimistic about the possibilities, for others, carrying the weight of challenges from the past four years, there is a palpable sense that the trend is set to continue.

In this environment, NZ Ethical Employers (NZEE) is using this conference as a platform to provide robust support to our employer members. We understand that the complexities of business require a collective and comprehensive response. As we delve into discussions and share insights, we aim to empower our members to not only navigate challenges but also to create workplaces that prioritise the well-being of their employees.

Our commitment to decisive and collaborative action remains unwavering. NZEE brings key stakeholders and influencers together to foster a culture of shared best practices. This includes addressing the mental health challenges that may arise in the workforce due to the intricate interplay of global challenges and personal struggles.

Empowering Ethical Employment, the 2024 New Zealand Ethical Employers Conference serves as a rallying point for employers to engage in forward-thinking discussions and unite in a shared commitment to put people at the heart of business.

This conference gives full effect to NZEE’s vision and mission to improve end-to-end quality of employment, to raise standards, and create a rights-respecting baseline to level the playing field so that competitiveness is not at the expense of the worker. By collectively committing to and promoting these values and principles, we can foster an employment environment that advances the safety, security, and welfare of all people. Join us in shaping a future where ethical values and employee well-being go hand in hand.
