A lot to Celebrate

Welcome to the June edition of the NZEE Newsletter.

Cyclone and flood recovery, inflation, the cost of borrowing, all the recent talk on New Zealand’s tax system, an election year – and Budget 2023. A lot of heavy topics still fill our conversations. This month we have a lot to celebrate too.

We welcome Vegetables New Zealand (VNZI) into the NZ Ethical Employer Partnership whanau. And we celebrate the last few days of Samoan language week.

June is host to several awareness campaigns, including Refugee Week Tuesday 19-25 JUNE. An opportunity to celebrate the proud record New Zealanders have supporting and protecting refugees. And Men’s Health Week 12 - 18 JUNE. Every day, 8 Kiwi families lose a loved one to a preventable illness, an unnecessary loss. Find out the five things every man should be doing.

Read on to learn how to make your workplace more inclusive in a variety of ways. And our Chair Mike Chapman takes a closer look at Social License, in ‘Mike’s Blog’.

Our newsletter aims to celebrate and support you, connecting you to global and local insights that contribute to the creation of more inclusive workplaces. Your time is precious, feedback allows us to produce content that is relevant and useful. tanya@nzee.nz
