Welcome to the final issue of 2022. We wake up sharing the planet with 8 billion other people. Sustainability of our global home is an individual responsibility. This month we look at ways we can each make a contribution.

The 74th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights will be celebrated on 10 December 2022. I (attempt) to explain what ‘human rights’ are, why they are important, and how they are relevant to us here in NZ today.
