Committed to decisive and collaborative action to drive ethical business practices in New Zealand

In an export-reliant country such as New Zealand, maintaining a strong social license to operate is crucial for business and industries. The concept of social license refers to the acceptance, trust, and support that a business or industry receives from the broader society and stakeholders. In the context of exports, it means that the international markets and customers have confidence in the ethical, social, and environmental practices of New Zealand's products.

NZ Ethical Employers (NZEE) plays a critical role in enhancing the overall quality of employment, elevating standards, and establishing a foundation of respect for human rights. As the importance of these aspects continues to grow, partnering with NZEE allows organisations to showcase their proactive risk mitigation approach, reinforcing their status as socially responsible businesses. This partnership further enhances their reputation and appeal to conscious customers worldwide.

NZEE partnership consists of two tiers: the $10,000 entry-level partnership and the $30,000 full partnership, tailored to meet the specific needs and aspirations of partner organisations. The distinction between the two partnership levels, the $10,000 entry-level and the $30,000 full partnership, centers on the extent of support provided to NZEE to sustain its operations. Both partnership tiers contribute to NZEE's continued ability to function effectively and fulfil its mission of promoting ethical labour practices within NZ’s Primary industries.

The $10,000 entry-level partnership offers essential operating support to help NZEE maintain its current programs and initiatives. By joining at this level, an organisation will contribute to NZEE’s ongoing efforts to raise awareness about human rights and labour rights issues and facilitate positive change in Horticulture and Viticulture sectors. This partnership tier ensures that NZEE can continue to operate and to offer educational resources, enabling members to take their initial steps towards embedding Human Rights & Labour Rights into their business processes.

The $30,000 full partnership level represents a deeper commitment to support NZEE's core operations and long-term sustainability. By choosing this level of partnership, an organisation plays a crucial role in providing the necessary resources for NZEE to expand its reach and impact within the industry. The increased investment from full partners allows NZEE to offer more extensive and personalised support, including tailored resources, workshops, guidance, and dedicated assistance and support to drive meaningful change.

Partnership Funding is critical to helping NZEE continue to operate. Your support will play a significant role in driving positive change and fostering a more responsible and sustainable business environment.
